David Bancroft-Turner

UNITED KINGDOM | Dave's early career was spent in International banking where he worked for National Westminster Bank in the UK, Middle East, and Australia.  His executive roles included setting up of a range of overseas acquisitions as well as making a number of strategic disposals for the bank.  After 14 years, he then changed his career path and was the Head of Management Development for a number of multinational companies. For the past 13 years he has been an Executive Coach, Trainer and Speaker.

Dave now specializes in Leadership Development and is best known for his pioneering work in the area of organizational politics having co-authored the unique political intelligence™ process, the political intelligence profile (pip)™ and the Executive political intelligence Coaching (EpiC) profile™.

Dave co-directs The Academy for Political Intelligence which aims to spread the word globally that organizational politics can be used as a positive force for good within organizations.  Dave's bestselling book, The Workplace Politics Pocketbook, was published in June 2008.

For the past 10 years Dave has also been working extensively in the area of Matrix Management and in addition to co-authoring The Matrix and Complex Environments (MaCE) Leadership Development Report (LDR)™ he has also co-designed several 'matrix specific' learning and development solutions for use within national and international companies.
As an Executive Coach, Dave is supportive, challenging and hugely pragmatic. He is passionate about coaching as an activity to improve the performance of both individuals and teams alike.
